Audi A6 The mid-sized Audi A6 model offers more room to the driver and passengers over the A4 line.

Need a little input, please.

Default Need a little input, please.

Going in tomorrow morning for a service appointment with 2000 A6 2.7T. Pretty positive my CV Boot is torn. After all the posts I've read on here and the extensive searching, I think I'll be okay with just getting the boot replaced (see https://www.audiforums.com/forum/sho...highlight=Boot . I do not have the means to do it myself, nor the inclination. I'm taking it to a dealership. What am I looking at price wise? I fully understand it will be more expensive than an independent mech., so no need in addressing that.

I plan on driving the car 880 miles next week also.

Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Yes you just need to change the boot. If done by the dealer you're looking at 2.5 hours of labor at the shops labor rate plus $70 for the boot repair kit.

Probably $400
