I have a 2001 A6 2.7 and the alternator recently died on me. I need to have it replaced, but at a fair price. If anyone knows of a good reliable mech. around the Tampa, Fl area they could recommend that would be greatly appreciated. I have had a few estimates around $1100-$1250 which to me seems absolutely ridiculous. Any advice would very helpful. Thank You
