Hello all,

I have a 2003 a6 with a 3.0, ac compressor clutch went out, I bought a new one and i am getting ready to install it tonight. My question is, it was shipped with out any PAG oil in it, so do i poor some of that oil in it prior to install, and if so where? As soon as the car is put back together, im taking it to a audi repair shop to have the system charged, but durring the 25mi drive, I want to be sure the compressor has some oil in it, just incase it wants to cycle while driving, also the a/c will be off while driving to the shop, Thanks

 

Just put a little in the compressor, the dealer's charging tool will inject PAG oil as it charges.
