Anyone bought this a/c compressor from Autozone? im looking for a replacement, my engine is AWM 2001 B5. anyone know if this will work or where i can get it for cheap?

Don't know about Autozone, but I bought a brand new Denso compressor for my 1998 B5 A4 from Amazon.com for about $280 shipped with no core charge. Installed it over the Memorial Day weekend and it works great.

 

I saw some on Amazon but I didn't know if the type of engine had anything to do with it?

 

if your looking for an a/c compressor i have one i could part with for the right price. i took my a/c out because i'm stupid. it worked perfectly, i just wanted more room for an intercooler. if your interested pm me. btw, mine is awm engine code as well
