well i should be recieving my borla mufflers and tips today. i ordered the "turbo" muffler with 2 1/4" diameter... and round 3" tips. my last car i had 2.5" diameter with magnaflows but wanted to try something smaller for now to quiet it down till i have the $$$ to do downpipes and all, last one sounded sick but did not like the drone. what do you guys think? anyone have a borla setup. eventually will order 2.5" borlas with straight piping from cats/downpipes.

 

Sounds like a gsolid set-up. I have heard that Borla is rather conservatove. Are you running resonators as well? If your looking for a quieter set-up with no drone add the resonators.

Nice mild sounding idle, zero drone under load, and sounds supercar-ish under full boost.

Wait...

Are you removing the stock mufflers and adding Borla mufflers aand tips to the stock system?
