Default New rotors

I was asked the following question about my front brakes and have no clue what it means? Any help is appreciated. Any thoughts on drilled Brembo rotors? Good, Bad?

Is your vehicle front using ATE or Girling caliper?

they're two different manufacturers of brake calipers. i would assume that they have slightly different mounting points, which is probably why they asked you that. they will more than likely have the name cast into the main part of the caliper somewhere, you'll probably just have to take your wheel off and try to find it.

Since you have a 2001 it should be the 8-pad Girling calipers...2002+ use 4-pad ATE calipers

We only use cross drilled rotors on the race cars we build and support. It's really not necessary for most road driving and they tend to be about 2x the price of non-drilled rotors.
