I live in Helena, Montana...as i said in a previous post i just purchased a 2001 avant w/ very low miles. I'm wanting to get the oil changed but there are no audi dealerships in helena. I've always gone to the local subaru dealership for all my oil changes on previous vehicles...would it be okay to have them change the oil or must it be done at the dealership??

I see no reason why anyone can't change the oil. Audis may be special in many was, but not in this way.

If you have ever changed oil this is just a few screws and the belly pan drops off. Other than that there is no reason you can't do it your self
