I have a 02 A6 3.0 and I have no oil pressure and when i check the dipstick it reads nothing. I am about ready for a oil change. My question is : I use synthetic oil and I need to put some in in order to get to the garage, my friend said to put in regular oil. I thought that once you go synthetic you can never go back. I would be getting a oil change as soon as i get to the garage. What should i do?

if your car has no oil pressure with nothing on the stick then you have a bigger problem to worry about than what type of oil to put in it. Your car must have some sort of major oil leak and dont startthe car without filling it back up with oil.If you have been using synthetic it wont hurt to put regular oil back in... Figure out where all of your oil went
