Default Old control arm assembly

I finished the fibi kit installation and all I can say is wow!

The difference is night and day. I forgot how good my car drove.

So, what do I do with my old assembly?
Is it still useful?
Can anyone use it?

you might be able to save the uppers and fit some kmac adjustable bushings

x2 w/ Febi, you get back so much steering response loss over the years

Now I really cant wait to get my new control arms... Maybe scrap the old ones, the price of metal keeps going up, but since they dont weigh to much, there might not be much money in them.

The swap was a total pain in the... until i bought a snap on scissor lift.

That's what was missing in my life. That lift is the smack! It is so easy to work on my vehicles now. Takes 15 minutes to change the oil. I'm very happy!

As far as the difficulty of the conrol arms, the hardest part was trying to torque the upper front and back arms to specs. I almost bought an inline torque wrench. That would have been the ticket.

See attached pics and disregard the celebratory glass of wine.

I bought the kit in June. At that time Pure Motorsports had the best price.
