Didn't like the Green light that came with the Alpine HU. Rainy Sunday so decided to do something about it. Read that people on the BMUU forum had change the color on HU to match the orange illumination on their BMUU.

The bulbs have green condoms on them.

Ask the wife if she has any orange/red nail polish, naturally she didn't, so I got my kids coloring book paint out and mixed a little red and orange tempural color and painted all the bulbs.

Put the Faceplate back together, installed the faceplate back on the HU.

This is how the HU unit looks now.



I'm going to look for some orange or red cellophane material to put over the LED display so that will be orange/red also.
