I am ordering a new a6. Nobody can find what I want to I gotta order it, I mean, after all, for this kind of money it better be what I want right? SO anyhow, my questions. I live in a rural area with lots of hills and curves....and amish buggies and horsecrap. So the quetion is, which suspension? I am getting18 inch wheels. I am interested in the adapative air suspension but, I don't want to ad any extra weight to the car. Does anybody know how much weight it ads? Is is worth it to get this option? I think I am passing on the sports suspesion because of ground clearance and ride. I am a power freak..... I almost went for BMW 550i with their v8 it has so much power! But I love quattro for the handling. Anybody have the 4.2 out there and what do you think of the acceleration? any other options that I should consider???

 

I have the 4.2 with the 18 inch wheels. I passed on the sport suspension because of ride quality concerns. The car has plenty of power and handles well. Of course it is still a 4 door sedan and I would not go picking on any true sports cars.
