Parking brake adjustment
I have no clue how i can adjust my parking brake on my 99 a6 avant. So far all my cars had an adjustment in form of a bolt attached to a cabel and a nut to adjust it.....but the audi....I have no idea. Before i go ahead and start taking the wood trim off the parking brake handel please tell me if there is an adjuster to make my parking brake grip better. Where can i find this adjuster?
PS: i have 2 shop manual cds for all audi/vw but....they are from good old england and the 2.8 isn't included, which should not be a problem any way since the bodies are about the same, but the damn CD is tricky to install and even harder to operate.

RE: Parking brake adjustment
I don't have any pictures but they work the same way, sometimes the adjusters are at the hand break inside the car and others are above the exhaust heat shields and then you have the others which are adjusted from the rear link cable like the fords
