2002 Audi A6 3.0

I can't seem to find this part or anything that looks like it. If your facing the engine its to the top right. I thought it would be called a crankcase vent valve, but my searches for on the internet look nothing like whats on my car. Basically it has a little daphram inside of a plastic cover. The diaphraminsidecracked and is whistling. Does anybody know the offical name of this part??

Are you talking about a Positive Crankcase Ventilation valve (PCV)... kinda what it sounds like your talking about to me...

Here's a picture....its the circular piece in the center. I've taken the plastic cover off. Inside was the diaphram that was busted. I have it plugged up right now (its the only way the car will idle smooth), until I can find the part name. It seems to be a PCV, but every part I've seen called that for this model doesn't look anything like this.

I just saw that you have a 3.0 sorry. This is a check valve. Usually on a 2.7 motor there is a big spider hose that this attaches to this you can not buy it seperate.
