Hi,
I have a 2000 A6 "brilliant black". It seems that the last owner use to buff the car a little too much and the clear coat is peeling/chipping. Is there anything i can do other than repaint the whole car?

If you can find a quality body shop, they can take down the clearcoat on damaged areas and respray it.

 

see if the Detailed IMage guys know anything about that
