Pic's of 2.8. Engine, plz help
The tech said the seals cost him around 75.00 us dollars. With the tensioner holding too he did not need to take off the timing belt. I have no experience with this as I actually paid someone to do it for me. Normally as stated I would do it myself so I would be of more assistance, but this time, for the money, I gratefully know nothing.
You have been much colder up there then we have been. I dumped maybe 1/2qt of oil that day when it suddenly started to leak (it had been seeping for a long time). In the week that followed until I got it fixed, it just simply dripped a little here and there. If I knew it wouldn't dump an *** load of oil again until spring, I would have waited until then to change it.

Yeah i wish i wouldn't have to do mine too right now, but its just not driveable. So i'm stuck in the garage....its -10c inside....and the lil space heater doesn't do much...
