[QUOTE=crazyquik22023;1415817]That really doesn't make any sense.. I've never heard of an abs module being bad without an ABS and brake light lit. And if your saying ur mechanic took the abs module out and then made it pass with no abs module connected that makes 0 sense haha [QUOTE]

i hear what your saying and it makes sense to me, i was there when he hooked the scanner up, i dont remember exactly what it said but if def said somthing about abs and traction control,i wish i had more knowledge about this stuff lol

Ya it probably wasn't vagcom. Thats the mistake alot of people make when working with audi/vw. If you don't use vagcom, generic scanner sometimes give false codes. Also with vagcom you can check each system such as abs, airbags, engine, transmission, etc so you can tell where your problem is

That really makes no sense at all.. There are 16 pins on the obd II connector.. I'm not sure what the testing place is talking about meaning no communication from it. Unless they are saying they couldn't connect to the ECU through the connector for whatever reason

Ya very weird.. I'm telling you though man, the best way to solve problems with these cars is get or take it to someone who has vagcom. Without using it it is pretty much just a guessing game. Even professional mechanics don't always know when it comes to these cars.. I've seen it a bunch of times haha
