PO422 Cat Efficiency code
I have a 1999 A6 with 165,000 miles on it. My check engine light came on this week so I had a shop look at it.
PO422 Catalytic Convertor
PO411 Secondary Air Injection
They found a bad PCV assemby and replaced it. The light stayed off for a day then came back on. I have not had it re-checked yet. Can anyone help me with what to do about the PO422 Code? The shop said I would need to replace the whole catalytic converter. They did not mention anything about O2 sensors. I would like to sell the car, so how should I proceed. Any help would be great.
