Default Problem with Low Beams, turn signals, heater fan.

Yesterday on the way back from skiing trip on my 2000 A6 2.7 I collided with new problems.
While driving I smelled some thing burning (electronic), the smell was so mild I didn’t feel like stopping in the middle of the night. After a little stop break, I turn on my car, and my

1) headlights will not turn on (sidemarkers turn on, dash lights work, and if I pull the light handle the high beams come on –for blinking- if I push it in, no light.)
2) my turn signals don’t function (but emergency button works, enables both sides at the same time )
3) my heater turns on but the fan doesn’t regulate hi/lo

Checked all the fuses (didn’t pull panels and check relays yet)

Idea??? Had friends Audi to test: if I don’t put a key into ignition same thing happens, low beams don’t turn on, hi beams don’t turn on, sidemarkers work, hi beams flashers work. ~weird!!!

Any ideas???

Maybe you should try putting the key in the ignition you will find that helps you turn on the headlights

For the turn signals you need a hazard switch (yes im aware that you hazards work when you push the button blah blah blah) just do it, if you want to argue do a search
of the hazard switch and see for yourself

I would assume you really do have the car running when you are trying the headlights? I could be a switch or bulbs or something else
