Changing the engine oil on 2.7T, I decided to open the intercooler hoses (to the intake).
For my surprise there was no oil collected in the hoses. Hoses were king of wet but no liquids. As per everything I’ve red about turbos and seals – there should be some oil sitting in the hoses.
Is the lack of oil sign that my turbos are starving – the oil supply is malfunctioning?
Is there something I should worry about here?
