Hello all.
I'm looking at B6 A4 and C5 A6 diesel manuals in both FWD and Quattro form.
I'm not really very familiar with the AWD system on these cars, as a result I'd like to know if there is anyway to check the system when I go to view any cars I'm interested in.

How robust is the Audi AWD set-up? I ask this as I'm familiar with the Volvo (very fragile) AWD set-up.

I have owned Audi's for some time and read these forums for the past 5 year. Audi's have a variety of issues as many of us will attest, but I have never read about any problems with the Quattro system.
