Question about DV
I just bought a2000 A6 2.7T this week, before that I had an A4 2.8. I don't knowa whole lotaboutthe 2.7T enginebut I keep hearing about Diverter Valves. Can someone shed some insight asto what they do exactly and the pros/cons of buying a set. Any help is appreciated.

RE: Question about DV
The DV's are mounted under the plastic engine shroud with the "V6 Biturbo" lettering. They divert any excess pressure from the high pressure side of the turbocharger plumbing back into the low pressure side. If the car still has the originals (plastic housing) you should replace them. Stock 710N DV's work just fine. Scroll down to the bottom of this page, $39.95 each http://www.ecstuning.com/stage/edpd/...ategory=Intake. The APR and Forge versions are pretty but are not worth the extra $$ IMHO.

RE: Question about DV
I agree that the OEM DVs should work well with a stock engine. But if you are ever going to chip your A6, you may want the heavier duty, higher priced DVs. I used Bailey's on my mechanic's suggestion.
