Default Question for an Audi Tech on Certification

I'm interested in becoming a Certified Technician dealing with Audis or VW's. Could anyone give me any advice on what direction to go. What schools or programs I should look at and how long the program would take to get certified. I would appreciate any help. Thanks ahead of time.

Youll either have to go to a school such as UTI that works with manufacturers or get a job at a dealer that is willing to send you to school to learn.

Yep thats where i went UTI in Phoenix arizona. UTI is the best school if your looking to work your way into the high end automobiles such as: Mercedes, BMW, Audi, Porsche, Volvo, Jaguar, they also have elective programs that you can buy which are awesome as well, Toyota and Ford.
I took the regular program and the Ford fact elective which rounded the price up to $38000, not too horrible.
The High end stuff are academy programs that you have to get accepted into, you have to earn over a 3.5GPA (isn't hard) then interview with the manufactures to get accepted. The academy programs are free to you but at the cost of over $30,000 to the manufacture to train you, when you graduate you can become anything from certified to master certified depending on the program, BMW being the hardest and most rewarding.

The ford program is around 8 grand i believe, plus the arizona campus is the only one you can legally get an A.S. degree without taking classes like english, math, ect.
