Default coil pack replacement

2003 a6 3.0 quattro70k milesi need to replace 3 of my coil packs but im gonna just do them all at 1 time since ive been told the others can go at any time.... is this a DIY fix or should it be takin do a the dealer or could an indy shop do it? what plugs do u guys recommend? Are any coilpacks better then other thanks im a newbie

They are easy to do on a 3.0L, they are just a pop in kind. You have to remove the two T15 torx screws holding in the ignition harness then pull them straight up.

ok where is the ignition harness im new to audi dont lill me lol.... should i do the plugs at the same time or just wait until the 80k service? gapping of the plugs hard to do?

The ignition harness is the connectors on the ignition coils, the red connectors.
You will see two small little torx screws holding them to the valve cover.
Go ahead and replace the plugs, audi recommends replacing them every 35-40k on the 3.0L engine.

auditech do i just simply put the plugs in? do i have 2 worry about the gaping stuff?
