in the spot where it tell me the miles on my car when i start up my car it flashes service inspec is that just telling me that i need to change my oil because it is about time for an oil change thanx in advance for helping me out

 

no how many miles do you have ... u might be at an audi recommended service milestone

they pre program ur car to tell u to take it in like 10k 30 k 55k 70k 100k or something liek that

 

i have sumwhere around 85 or 86 but the timing belt andwater pump have already been replaced on it im kindaworried cause i dunno wat it is i hope its nothing serious

 

probably just need service... oil, filter, cabin filter, trans, sunroof guides, brakes...?.... Check what the schedule required for 80-85 k service

i looked in my book and i cant find anything

 

mine did the same thing but i decided to reset it (holding down the trip button and then pushing the test button twice) because i do all the maintence and service on my car myslef :]

 

yeah i was thinking of just resetting it cause i do all my maintence **** myself also cause i looked in my book and couldnt find ne thing either if theres ne one else out there with input let me no and thanx to those who have helped

 

so for sum reason i cant get it tot clear its not working[:@]i changed the oil and filters and stuff the were pretty nasty and the oil was a lil low

 

mine cleared after a while as I did not know how to clear it and maintain my car by myself
