Hi,

My grandfather is looking at my 2000 A6 2.8 Quattro for me.

He is to the crankshaft and wants to know:
Is the nut on the end of the crankshaft left-hand threaded or right-hand threaded?

I've been searching but can't find the answer.

If anyone has a link to a oil pump walkthrough, that would be appreciated.

Let me know if you need more info, or if even what I asked doesn't make sense. (I don't know much at all about this stuff; just trying to relay a question).
