Radiator hoses help!!
C5 a6 2.7t bottom passenger side of the radiator are two metal hoses connected by torx screws. Removed lower one and pressurized air and liquid came out. What are those hoses for.
I'm trying to get the radiator out the way to replace water pump.

You just opened your A/C line.
If you plan to replace water pump, then you'll need to put it in service position. You're about 1/2 way there. By the looks of the oily puddle on the floor, it looks like you also opened your Power Steering cooling lines. Could have avoided that. I think you need to read up on how to put car in service position & how to change timing belt & waterpump. Searches on this forum & others, & Google should get you there. Be aware that you may be needing some special tools (crank lock pin & cam lock bar) for redoing the timing on assembly. And you will also be needing more A/C coolant & PS fluid.
Here's 1 of several guides on DIY timing belt/water pump.
