Radio safe mode

Hi, I have a A6 4.2 with the navigation/radio/tv stereo

But the former owner had lost/forgotten the radio code..

Any tips how to fix this?

Have you checked the manual? There is usually a little sticker in it. There may also be a 4 digit sticker in the spare tire wheel well. Lastly it could be located on a sticker on the inside trunk lid.

I didn't know about the various sticker locations Jestnomen lists, so I stopped into the nearest Audi dealer who looked it up based on the VIN. I wrote the code in the operator's manual.
