i have a 2001 A6 2.7t and want to know if its possible to mount a radar detector like the valentine 1 into your rear view mirror?????

 

I dont think there is a Valentine Rear View hook up at this point... Ive heard about a company called Cheetah that does a Rear View hook up. But the down side to that is that its not a Valentine so the quality is prolly really shitty dont hold me to it though.

so i guess it is possible but i dont see them saying It works in Audi's. Try searching a little more maybe you can find something i wasnt able too.

I've stumbled on projects on the net where people have taken the V1 remote display, opened it up, and put the actual display part into the rearview. Seems like overkill to me. Mine is mounted like the one in vrs02's link, but on the passenger side of the rearview power line (because of my IL Tollway unit IPASS on the driver side). I also ran the remote display to the instrument cluster. its sitting in front of the voltage meter
