I was just looking through all of the recalls for the 98 A6 and was wondering,how do you know is these were done?
Now please know that I'm not trying to be a "post hog" I just have a lot of questions about our new car...forgive me....

Give Audi a call and give them the VIN, they should be able to look it up. You can get the number from their website.

Any new recalls on the vehicle should result in you getting a letter from audi, even if you arent the original owner. There are flaws in the system thou. Your dmv adress must be current. As well as the cars registration. Any previous recalls would be sent to previous owners so its possible that they were never done.

Thanks guys, I called the Audi dealership and they ran the VIN...no recalls done to my car...one of the recalls is the throttle body...I wonder if it will perform beter???The problem with it is,it freezes up in cold weather....

You probably wont notice a change unless your tb is really dirty. All it is, is a new throttle body with a couple coolant lines going to it.
