Does anyone know if it's possible to put a remote start in an 2003 A6 avant 3.0? One place in Greenfield Mass. said they don't due them due to the fact, were the wires connect comes loose all the time. It was the Music store. Or doesanyone know what type of bypass I need?

I had actually inquired about that myself ways back. I went to a local car stereo/alarm place. They told me they would not install it in my car because I have a manual transmission. I have no idea if it would even work on my car. They told me no immediately. They were telling me that apparently some people with manual transmissions have had these things installed. They are parking with the car in gear without the emergency brake on. They are hitting the remote start from their house or wherever and the cars are jumping forward and hitting other parked cars. Sounds logical and they avoid any liability. If it is true then some people are incredibly stupid!
