My car keep telling me to service engine soon. I had the reset procedure written down somewhere, but now I can't find it. Anyone know how to reset the service oil soon counter?

BTW, I called my dealer and he said he'd need a tech to do it, so they're no help.

Oh, on a side note, why can't I find the search forum feature. I've never seen a forum without search.

 

There are two places on here to search for info. 1.scrowl down in a thread and you'll see an automatic serach called related threads. The other is at the top of the page thereis a word between Calendars and Recallswith the letters S E A R C H. That might help!

as for resetting the oil reminder - it is different for different years.

 

i hate when people do jerky replies.... just dont answer the poor kid... it took more energy to ignore it and let someone answer... or not. I'm willing to bet you will waste your time to reply to this also

Why is trying to help someone undestand the error of their ways a waste of time ?
