Default Rotor recomendation

OK so somehow I managed to warp the front rotors I dont know how but I did.

I wanted an opinion on putting slotted and drilled rotors on the front. I am aiming to aid in cooling and hopefully avoid warping the rotors again.

Do you think this would be effective or would I be wasting my hard earned Dollars?

Thanks

For street application, I really don't think slotted or drilled rotors are worth it. I always had good success with Brembo blank rotors. They are cheap and never had warping issues.

My indie shop replaced my rear rotors with Centrex and they seem to work fine. Nothing special, but I just drive high speed interstate and don't use brakes a lot. I would have used the same on the front but he was able to turn them (probably the one and only turn I'll get from the rotors). I broke them in gently and kept away from water the first week. Just my 2 cents.

If you warped them your driving habits may be harder than others. I would go with the perforated or slotted it will disperse the heat better, also check your rear brakes make sure the rotors are not to thin they may not be applying enough pressure to help the front. I had the problem on my suburban and I had to drill my rotors to stop it. It was caused by the crappy rear drums not applying pressure. but the perforated rotors solved the problem. Do you have a long comute/ heavy stop and go traffic? That will do it.

stick to regular rotors and get good pads and SS brake lines with race fluid. You'll be good. thsoe fancy rotors on our cars warp easily and yuo don't need to add to the possible cuases of vibrations on our cars..
