Default Need advice and recomendation!!

Hi ...i need advice about mine purchase.I did some research on A8 and decided to get one.
Monday i need sign papers and car would be mine.
I found in local VW dealership 2004 audi A8L with 90000mls. for $17900.
The car drive nice, its clean have two previous owners with clean carfax.
Coming with no warrantee as is.
My question is...shut i get PPI?
Is the price reasonable?
What to look for?

Thanks in advance Roman

The price is within reason, depending on your part of the country...price varies a little from east to west coast. Some parts of the country have the same listed for $1000 less...some more (autotrader.com).
Biggest question: Has the timing belt service been done...proof on paper? If not, it's due for it very soon...dealer cost $1800-2000 or more for service (including waterpump).

Get the VIN and see if the Audi dealer can pull the service records.

The three main things I would look for are:
1. (as mentioned) Timing belt service
2. Ignition coils - if they haven't been replaced they will probably need to be fairly soon.
3. Trunk latch mechanism replaced

Other than that, just the obvious stuff - condition of tires, amount of brake pad left, shifts smooth, etc.

Default If you get the VIN #

The Audi dealer can also pull up all of the warranty claims and repairs over and above service records.
