I've made the choice... I am getting a trunk lid spoiler for my 2002 A6 3.0. Now the research begins. What I'm looking to buy is the RS6 style spoiler not the m5 trunk lip spoiler.

What I would like to know is
[ul][*]Where did you buy from?.... online, ebay, a friend at audi, homeless man, etc.. I'm looking to buy online.[*]What did you pay?... I'm seeing from 50$-550$[*]Was it pre-painted?... I plan to purchase mine pre-painted.[*]Did you do the install?... 3m tape -stick the **** on?[/ul]I'm really looking forward to adding this to the A6. If you guys have already been down this path please share you thought's and experiences....

I have a 2001 4.2 and this is the RS spoiler I used. It should be able to fit the 2002 3.0. I got it pre-painted and it cost $540 total. Had a shot bolt it on.

Have you tried calling MadAudi? While the website is C6 I think they still have C5 items if you call.

Did yours mount with the 3M tape or did you have to mount it by drilling? I've been looking at those spoilers on ebay for a while but always seems shady! Looks good on yours though!

 

I have that same lip from ebay. Its a really nice looking lip and it already comes prepainted to match your car. Also it comes with the 3m tape already to go when you take it out of the box to install.
