I think it looks fine. Plenty of people out there will tell you to lower it to the point of dragging on the ground. Never understood it beyond a certain point. It looks great right now (don't YOU think?); lowering it will just give you a harsher ride. Save the money and put the dollars you saved into some great H-Sport anti sway bars. MUCH better to spend your dollars actually DOING something to improve the performance than just make the car look like a skateboard.

My $.02

Don't do it.

You could make the car seem visually lower by adding some S6 or 4.2 door blades; they add visual weight to the bottom of the A6. Another alternative would be the RS6 skirts, though I'm unsure if they're available for a narrow body C5.

That looks like about the same height as my stock 03 A6.

03 A6 had the sport suspension (lowered by 20 mm relative to non-sport) as a STANDARD feature. Pre-03, it was a separate option. FWIW, the pic in my sig is an 01 sport suspension.

Looks fine, your friends must be the type to put their money towards skid blocks rather than fixing their brakes....
