Default Silly Question, yes im a cheap as$

would it be wise to simply coat the inside of my current TBB in silicone, rather than buying the Samco TBB for 70 bucks? ya i am very cheap, but 70bucks can buy a lot of beer. what do you think? lol

Waste of good beer drinking time. Either spend the money or leave it alone until it cracks, then get a stock replacement one.

Brother,

Replace it with the Samco. It's not just the silicone but its the nylon mesh in the TBB thats gives it its strength. The OEM it just rubber with no reinforcement, thats where the Samco is exceptional! The replacement is not difficult. I did mine and my bro in law did his on his S4. You can do it!

OOOO

Yeah, go with the Samco. It's worth it. You are kinda in a tight spot. Being a cheap a$$ and owning an Audi don't really go together unless you own a german parts store and are a hell of a mechanic. lol. Good luck with it.
