Slight front end shake ..after adding new rims / tires
I have a 2000 A6 2.8 and recently just installed new 19" ADR M-Classic + 35 mm offset rims and 235/ 35/ 19 tires. When I drive over 60 miles per hour on the freeway there is a slight shaking / vibrations in my front end. I have heard that installing a donut (placed between the hub and the rim) may help with the shaking / vibration. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Follow the link in my signature to my registry page. Click on 'Stoney's Links' and do a search for "Hunter Roadforce". Go to the Hunter site and use their dealer locator to find a Hunter Roadforce balancing system equipped garage near you. Have all four wheels balanced.
Report back if you still have problems. This simple step has resolved LOTS of problems for people in the past.

I run 19's and one of the keys to properly balancing the wheels is to make sure they balance the inside as well as the outside, Example. weights as close to the spokes as possible from the inside and weights on the outside lip, back of wheel (side you dont see) This method of balancing along with the use of hub rings is about the smoothest youll get when running BIG WHEELS! hope this helps.
