Default Front end sway and shake

1996 A4, 18'' Forte, Yokahamas, Front end starts shaking at about 55 but smooths out at some speeds for short periods and then shakes again. Steering also wanders from left to right. Pulls to the right and then to the left and then tracks straight. I replaced all of the control arms, tie rods, and balanced the tires. The shop said the tires were out of round so I put on new tires, but still have the same results. What is left?? Steering feels tight just pulls from side to side and shakes like hell.

Inner CV joints cause wandering and vibration at speed when they're worn out.

I think you might have something with the cv joints. I did replace one axle but the other looks original with 180K on it. The wheel bearings seem tight and smooth. thanks for the pointers.

The stick on weights fell of one of the wheels when I pulled them off to replace the control arms. I found them on the floor today. I bet after a balance it will be ok.

could also be a bent rim. if they couldnt balance the other tires and new ones still did it, would make sence.
