I have noticed since the summer that when we go to start the car it turns over but takes a while to catch (longer than turn the key and fires right away) The car has about 71000 miles on it.

The car had the coil packs replaced eirlier this summer under a recall, could it be one or more of these could be some what faulty or is it something more.

It does not fire this way all the time maybe every 5th or 6th time

Any ideas?

 

Put in a fresh set of plugs and change your fuel filter - either of them could create the problem.
