Snow flake on gauge

RE: Snow flake on gauge
I saw that here in San Diego about a month ago. I am sure I would have seen it the past couple of weeks had I not been on a business trip in Norfolk, VA for the past 3 weeks.
I thought it was funny too.

Actually, in my A6, the snowflake disappears when temps are below 20F...it is meant to warn of conditions which might cause ice...I think the upper range is set at 43F. When it is below 20F, there is no question.
This AM it was 2F outside when I started the car, and no snowflake, butthe blood in my veins froze anyway))

Maybe us in the lousy weather zones could get Audi to put a little smiley face on the cluster when we hit 72 and sunny - something like this[sm=yeahsmile.gif]. At any rate, we wont see that for a while. LOL
