Default some problems, vacuum leak? and another

i got a few issues with my 99 a6 quattro. first off is its loud. sounds like a vacuum leak. could that be the thing and if so where is it most likely going to be. (area to look). the other was a CEL i got today on my way home from school. took it to advanced auto to have it scanned and it was like a secondary air injection flow something something or else. i dont remember and i dont remember the code either. i heard that that could be something like a cat? could this also be that problem and if so is it nesecarry to fix or anything?

Ok go to this link and order the vac line;

http://www.ecstuning.com/Audi-C5_A6-...Hose/ES250257/

The hard lines and fitting you can get at Autozone or Advance or who ever it seems that's all they carry anyway.

Replace every last piece of that crap and you will most likely also end up repairing your emmission problem as well because that runs on Vacuum.

If you need to do something now while you wait open the hood and listen for the leak probably comming from the bottom of the Kombi valve. Attached to the back of the head by the firewall.

You could also leave the engine off pull a line and blow a little air in it you'll be able to hear better. But remember every line you touch will turn to crap so don't pull them all apart until you get the new line.
