you are correct, sir! that is what i meant, coils, not engine order. thanks for posting the diagrams. I have the bentley cd, but i havent seen those on it. do you have a different repair manual?

 

I have a few types and that picture is from elsa ( and very comprehensive toy ) but can get complicated

 

now down to your other problem which sounds like a vacuum issue
