Default Sport Seat Oddness

Well - I in a fit of irrational repair avoidance, I sold my '05 A6 last year. Now here I am ramping-up to buy another! This time I am thinking I'll get an '06 or '07 A6...maybe an S4 (but too small really).

Question - Do any of you feel that the sport seat (driver) has an uneven pressure "strip" right across the seat? On my '05, you could most def feel like a "band/strip" that did not feel right...right across your a**. I chaukled it up to the car having 65k miles on it...but...(so to speak).

I drove an '07 S-Line with 15k miles and was shocked to feel the very same thing!

Yeah, I am a tank (6'2" 265 lbs), but man...this is bugging me. Typical of these seats?

Thanks!

So nobody knows what I am talking about?

I swear I am not imaging things...have a tough time believing that BOTH my '05 with 65k miles and an '07 with 15k miles are one-offs.

It must just be that the seats are not made for Linebackers! My weight just mashes the seat down to where I can feel the support strapping, I guess. But if anything, I'd think the sport seats would be much firmer.

I'll try some of the non-sport seats (sorry don't know the technical term) and see what happens.
