Default quick CA tip

I'm having a bit of trouble getting my lower rear control arm back into its plug. No matter how I turn the wheel I cant get it to reach. The other side popped in when I had a buddy push up while I turned the wheel but is there some quick trick that I haven't figured out yet?

If I remember right, I couldn't get the lower rear ball joint end in the spindle once I had the lower front in, so I had to take the lower front out and install the lower rear first. Then I had to play with the steering angle to get the lower front to line up.

shoot I was afraid of that I was just hoping that I just needed to shake an angry fist at it and invoke a viking god to scare it into place.

There's nothing wrong with trying that first! You could also place a sledge hammer within sight of the control arm and see if that's enough to convince it to cooperate. Best of luck.

Well the girl is finally back on the road after a 2 week hiatus. New control arms, TREs, 1 new axle, and a fresh 4 wheel alignment and she is driving great. Once I pulled out of the shop though I still hear some squeeks which I expect while things get settled. More concerning though is that I have a very slight clunk whenever I tap the brakes. I'm wondering if maybe I did torque a caliper bolt down all the way or the strut tower is loose but I can only hear it from the inside of the cabin. Anyone else have this after fresh suspension work/
