Sway bar questions for the A6
I have an A6 4.2 with quattro and was wondering with the quattro if it's better to just go with the back sway bar, or with both, my thought being that i want to get rid of the body roll and tighten down the back of my car, and i'm afraid that if i get both sway bars, the front will just cancel out the back and not keep my back from sliding out as easy.
A bigger sway bar in the rear will make your rear come out easier. If you want to keep the rear from coming around (oversteer), use a bigger front bar (stiffen the front). A well engineered set of bars will balance both the front and rear and give you neutral handling. Stock bars should give you understeer (front washes outwhile the rear stays planted).

A larger sway bar in the rear will make your rear come out easier?? This sounds backward to me, if your rear has less sway how is going to come out easier? Maybe more suddenly? but easier, I don't think so. Correct me if I am wrong.
