Hm...My 1998 has a cubby hole right under the steering wheel. You have to get on your knees to find it the first time, at least I did. It fits in there quite snugly. I will take a picture of the page that you need for this and post it on here or Email it to you, that way you can know exactly what to do.

yeah done that already, where the hole is there is no casing... just open space.

yeah mine didn't come with manual......
so sucks trying to figure out everything.
I did find quick guide that's about all I have.

You can get an owners manual from the dealer for a whopping $6 if you want one.
