Default temp sensor

Apparently, I need a new coolant temp sensor. Isn't there a "green" one that is better? Does anyone know where to get them and where it's located on the engine?
In case it matters:

Car is stock, for now. Waiting on turbos to do other upgrades.

There is a recall on CTS;
Check with your dealers.

Here is a picture for a 2.8 ATQ. It should be about the same on your 2.7. I believe you have to remove the intake tubing and Y-pipe on 2.7 to get to it.

I think I see it next to the passenger side turbo wastegate? Time to get a manual, I guess. Thanks everyone.
BTW, found it here,

includes o-ring and clip too.
