Firegod- at 18 an avant is a sweet car. Beats what I had... a 13 year old VW Diesel Rabbit, yellow in color. Now lets's see those pics

ORIGINAL: Firegod

The general consensus with my Avant was like this. (Bear in mind I'm an 18 year old high schooler)

Me: I just got a new car. Audi A6 Wagon
Friends: Dude...a station wagon.
Me: Come look at it...
Friends: That is one badass SPORTS wagon.

Okay, so I may call it a sports wagon. But It really breaks all the rules of a wagon. Heck, mines 8 years old and the styling of the thing STILL looks amazing, and in my mind is better looking than the A6 sedans of the day. It seems more like an SUV crossover, only much lower the ground the sportier.
yeah, I don't understand why everybody hates Wagons here in this country. I love 'em. Can fit as much as in a SUV, but better mpg, ride, etc.
I wanted a wagon (am european) and then your options pretty much always lead you to Audi (which isn't a bad thing!!!!)

Love my Allroad...

Four Ring Circus, I posted the pictures in this thread.. https://www.audiforums.com/m_704629/tm.htm

She needs her hood and bumpers painted, and brakes, but otherwise it's in great shape. I love it.

I was looking at the Subaru Outback before I got the Audi. Are the Avant fast stock or dose the weight kill it?

I've only driven the 2.7T sedan model, but my Avant is the 2.8 so I really couldn't compare from experince, I wouldn't say that it's fast, but it has power when needed, plus theres only about a 300 pound weight diffrence, so i doubt it much diffrent.

I havethe saloon(see sig) but I really wanted the 2001 Avant S6. I test drove one at Barrier in Seattle and fell in love with it. 340 HP, nimble, and utilitarian all in one. Car had the widebody like my saloon and was the same color (interior/exterior) and had the same options that I do now. After I test drove it, I left to think it over and when I came back to say YES the car was already gone. I was sooo dissapointed becuase you don't see a lot of S6's come up for sale in that condition. Anyways, sales guy was cool and got me the same car but in a saloon. I love it, but have always wanted the wagon. Coolest wagon on the road IMHO.

Prbayha, too bad you missed. I hope the saloon is not too bad for you. Avant really looks 100 times better than E-Class wagon.
