I agree with that completely!

Silver reflective tint on a silver car will make it look completely "hooptie"!

Black is the way to go!

OOOO

silver car goes with dark tint. I'd go with darkest possible "smoke" tint - gives it a nice look. The contrast is what you are looking for in this case.
Most people will consider reflective tint on a silver car a sign of bad taste - most women at least. And seeing how (let's face it) ladys are a big part of our lives and having a nice car helps meeting them... well, you get the point

Having reflective tint is common on benz's. Being a german luxary car I would think it is the same class =\.

Yeah, I noticed that. I too have my first silver car and thought about the silver tint but I have decided on the black tint but the one with the reflective finish. I have not done it yet but will tell you what I think when it is done, also let me know how yours comes out.
There is black with reflective finish? do you have any pics of that?

I was thinking of silver because my car is a light color and the light reflective tint should compliment it as it does look nice on many white and silver benz's.
I don't have any pics but I have been told and I know you probably have seen but did not notice that there is more than one kind of dark tint. There is a flat tint that does not reflect much and there is also a black tint with a metallic shine to it that does reflect but is still black. I would say ask the place who is going to do your tint about it.

The reflective black tint is called Hybrid Metalized and comes in charcoal color with a reflective shine to it. The one without the shine is called plain old Standard and comes in smoke color and does not reflect at all.

well black on black always looks good thats obvious on how much they match up. silver and black i think also looks great, just wondering how it looks on an audi a6 with silver tint if it might look better since it would be matching the tone of the paint more. I am not saying black is not good and silver is better, I am just leaving an open mind for nice choices. Has anyone even seen an silver audi with silver reflictive tint? the tint I imagine wouldnt be so deep that you cant see inside and looks like a mirror. something like 50% or so.

My last two cars where 5% i think privacy deepest black tint. you couldnt even see inside the car during daytime with you face in the window, hahah.

rez, dude, I'm telling you, go with the darkest possibly-legal in your state "smoke"... Well, I would, anyway...
I haven't seen too many cars with the reflective black tint - maybe it will look very nice, but my goal would be to creat contrast.

Are you planning on getting tinted tail lights? They look pretty good on a silver car... Than you really should match the window tints to the tails more or less.
