Okay so i have a 2.8 A6 with Tip when u shift with the Tip should u let off the gas then get back on it or just stay on the gas while u shift?

You can stay on the gas. The transmission knows what its doing. There are technically still clutch pads in there though. If you want to go easy on the thing just ease of the gas a little. I don't.

no need to lift the ECU starts to adjust timing on the shifts and the torque converter will hold or release as needed. you don't even need to shift the trans in tip mode if you don't want to. the car will automatically still pull the next gear when it hits the trans limit

i gotta a6, 2.8 also, i was wondering if the tiptronic makes the car any faster, meaning acceleration

Thanks guys and yeah accleration it does cause u can raise the RPMS higher than in "Drive" mode. So you will notice a small difference atleast i do!
